Cherry Hill Park

This park offers everything you can imagine for young and old alike. Attractions include:

Cavalier Trail Park

Cavalier Trail Park features a beautiful walking trail with a creek that flows slowly alongside the park. Facilities at this park include:

This park is much smaller than Cherry Hill, but it still has many amenities that make up for the smaller size. Kids love the playground and running around the green grassy areas.

West End Park

A new addition to the parks in the area, West End brings new attractions to the area. Wildflowers, beautiful trees, and newly planted shrubs are nice to enjoy as you walk through this park. But one of the main attractions is the skate park installed by the city. It’s a great place to grind the rails and meet some like-minded skaters.

Cherry Hill Farmhouse

Full of Greek Revival architectural style and a true relic of centuries gone by, the Cherry Hill Farmhouse is a beautiful place to visit. This 1845 building became the property of Falls Church in 1956 and was converted to a museum and historical building. While you’re visiting for a tour, you can find some gifts and fun items in their shop.

This farmhouse is connected to the Cherry Hill Park that we mentioned above.

Great Falls is situated right alongside the Potomac River, a small yet mighty national park site. This 800-acre park offers amazing views, beautiful hiking, and an experience that’s second to none. If you live in the area and haven’t seen the falls, be sure to head over there on the next sunshiny day!
