1. Cherry Hill Park

Cherry Hill Park features a great playground with a large sandy ground for kids to run around in. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball nets, and some small walking trails. A covered picnic bench area makes for a great spot to host a gathering or hang with family.

2. Lincoln Park

Basketball courts, cute sculptures, a sandbox, swings, and picnic benches all help to make up Lincoln park. The locals of Falls Church, VA regard this as a small park that’s very safe for smaller kids and their friends.

3. Cavalier Trail Park

Cavalier Trail Park is a small grassy park that features a playground and tennis courts, basketball courts, and a short walking trail. The trail is less than a mile long, but it’s still a beautiful walk that’s worth going around more than once.

4. Larry Graves Park

The Large soccer fields at Larry Graves park are regularly used for both soccer and youth football games. Baseball and softball tournaments are regular activities that are held here throughout the summer, and there’s a walking trail around the park. One advantage that many people love about this park is that it’s just a short walk from Dunkin Donuts.

5. Howard E. Herman Park

Howard E. Herman park is more of a nature preserve area and is very well maintained as such. A few miles of trails can be walked or biked with places to sit on benches or stop and observe some of the wildlife at the park. The park even features a stream with a bridge to cross it.

6. Isaac Crossman Park

Isaac Crossman Park is another small park with swings, a few slides, grills, and picnic tables. It’s a great place to meet up with some friends or to enjoy a night grilling with family members.

7. Benjamin Banneker Park

Benjamin Banneker Park is a simple 11-acre park with trails, grills, a playground, fields, and a dog park. The playground has been recently updated and offers a great area for kids to run around and enjoy themselves. The park even features a historic national landmark that you can see and learn more about. It’s a great place to enjoy as well as catch up on some great history.

8. Big Chimneys Park

Marking the site of a log house that was built in 1699, Big Chimneys park is located on Annandale Road and was just renovated to feature some new and updated amenities. With the updates included, there are some great things to enjoy throughout this park including the marking for the old log house.

9. West End Park

West End Park features something different than all the others because this park has a skate park. This park is one of the newer ones here in the area, but it’s great for that reason. Not yet very well known and an oasis for anyone who enjoys skating.
