Designers, draftsmen, and carpenters all working under one roof.
One dedicated point of contact from start through completion.

We would rather have the honest conversation early, before you spend time chasing numbers that do not reflect the project you actually want. Here is who we tend to work best with.
Kitchen remodels get stressful when design, pricing, permits, and construction are handled by different people. WISA keeps everything under one roof, so your project is planned, priced, and built by the same team.
You see the design in 3D before construction begins, move forward with clear fixed-cost pricing, and always know who is managing the work. Simple, organized, and accountable from start to finish.
Because WISA both designs and builds, your kitchen is planned around what can actually be built in your home. Layout changes, cabinetry, appliances, plumbing, electrical, structure, and finish selections are considered together before construction begins.
Your kitchen is shown in detailed 3D renderings, so you can understand the layout, flow, finishes, and overall feel before anything is finalized. That gives you a clearer picture of what you are investing in and helps prevent expensive mid-project changes.
WISA verifies site conditions, checks measurements, and confirms the project scope before presenting a fixed-cost agreement. The goal is to remove the uncertainty that often comes with loose allowances, vague estimates, and unclear kitchen remodeling proposals.
From the first design conversation to the final walkthrough, your project is handled by a team that knows the plan, the budget, and the standard. You are not chasing separate trades or re-explaining your kitchen to someone new halfway through the remodel.
Kitchen remodel pricing can get vague fast. WISA is upfront about the range early, then gives you a fixed price after seeing the home, verifying conditions, and defining the full scope.
Tier 1
A full kitchen remodel with design, permitting, cabinetry, countertops, finishes, and installation. Best for projects that improve the existing kitchen without major structural changes.
WHERE MOST PROJECTS LAND
Tier 2
Layout changes, wall removal, upgraded cabinetry, premium counters, lighting, plumbing, electrical, and a full 3D design process before construction begins.
Tier 3
For kitchens tied into larger layout changes, structural work, expanded openings, connected living spaces, or whole-home remodeling scope.

Scope: Strategic layout refinements, soffit removal, new cabinetry, quartz countertops, tile backsplash, pantry updates, custom cookbook and display cabinetry, under-cabinet lighting, recessed lighting, hardwood floor patching.
Timeline: 10 Weeks
Investment: $115,000
This kitchen was transformed through smarter use of the existing footprint. By removing the soffits, expanding storage, updating the lighting, and replacing the old railing with custom cookbook and display cabinetry, the space immediately felt taller, brighter, and more connected.
The renovation focused the investment where it mattered most: cabinetry, organization, lighting, finishes, and details that made the kitchen easier to live in every day. In 10 weeks, the home gained a refined, highly functional kitchen without needing a complete floor plan overhaul.
Timeline: 16 Weeks
Investment: $150,000
This kitchen stayed in its original location, but nearly everything about how it lived changed. Opening the walls and adding a structural beam created a more connected layout, while the cooking area was reworked to make the kitchen easier to use.
The finishes brought the transformation up another level. Double-stacked cabinetry, quartz surfaces, porcelain tile flooring, a refreshed butler’s kitchen, and layered lighting gave the space a more refined, finished feel from every angle.

This project went far beyond a standard kitchen remodel. The entire main floor was reimagined around how the homeowners wanted to live, gather, cook, and move through the home.
Walls, windows, doors, mechanical systems, and even the powder room were reconsidered to make the new layout work. A concealed steel beam opened the space, while semi-custom cabinetry, quartzite, exotic marble, and a dedicated second HVAC system helped turn the main floor into a more open, refined, and comfortable place to live.
Most homeowners remodel a kitchen once, maybe twice, in their lifetime. The process should feel clear and organized from the beginning.
Step 01
We start by learning what is no longer working in your kitchen, how your family uses the space, and what styles feel most like home. Inspiration photos help us understand your goals before discussing scope, budget, and next steps.
Step 02
During the in-home consultation, our team walks through your existing kitchen, studies the layout, and listens to what you want the space to become. We look at flow, storage, natural light, surrounding rooms, and possible design opportunities.
Step 03
We document the kitchen as it exists today, including measurements, walls, windows, doors, plumbing, electrical, and surrounding conditions. This gives the design team an accurate foundation before exploring layout changes, cabinetry plans, and renovation possibilities.
Step 04
At the design center, you begin seeing the kitchen take shape through materials, finishes, cabinet styles, countertops, fixtures, and other selections. This step helps connect the overall design direction to the details you will use every day.
Step 05
After selections and feedback are reviewed, the kitchen design is refined to better reflect your goals, budget, and home. Layout details, storage solutions, finish choices, and project scope are adjusted so the plan feels clear and ready.
Step 06
Before moving into production, we confirm final measurements, review the full kitchen remodeling scope, and walk through the contract details together. This gives everyone a clear understanding of the design, investment, timeline, and expectations before work begins.
A kitchen renovation puts a team in your home for months. These are the people who will be there.

We help homeowners across Virginia create kitchens that feel more connected, more comfortable, and more like the place everyone naturally wants to gather.
Beautiful kitchens may be what people notice first, but the relationship behind the work is what shapes the entire experience. From the first conversation to the final walk-through, we focus on listening well, communicating clearly, and creating a space that feels personal to the way your family lives.
Most of our kitchen renovations fall between $75,000 and $175,000 depending on scope, cabinetry, appliances, and whether the layout changes. Projects involving structural work or an addition run higher. We will give you a specific range for your home during the first conversation, before you have committed to anything.
Design typically runs 6 to 8 weeks, and construction typically runs 10 to 12 weeks. Permitting, custom cabinetry lead times, and project complexity all affect the schedule. You will have a written timeline before construction begins.
In most cases, yes. Living without a working kitchen is an adjustment, but most of our clients stay in their homes. During planning we discuss temporary kitchen setups and how to limit disruption.
Yes. Most kitchen renovations involving electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or structural work require permits. We handle those requirements and coordinate with jurisdictions across the NoVA.
We work on a fixed-cost basis, so you’ll see actual costs before your project begins. If something needs to change, whether you request it or demolition uncovers a condition we could not see, we price it and you approve and sign off before any work proceeds. Nothing gets built and billed without your written approval first.
We do not offer financing directly. We can refer you to financing partners we have worked with before if that is helpful as you plan.
Design-build brings design, planning, selections, and construction under one team. Instead of coordinating multiple companies, you have a single point of accountability from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.
Tell us about your home and what is not working about your kitchen. We will follow up within one business day to schedule a 15-minute call. No pressure, no obligation, and no sales visit until you want one.
